WhyAfrica to launch its first digital magazine

A little more than a year after WhyAfrica was established, the company will launch its first ever digital magazine in November 2021.

The first issue promises to be jampacked with in-depth articles about current issues and challenges facing the business community in Africa, and great information and advice about doing business on the African continent.

Next year, we will publish 4 WhyAfrica digital magazines to complement our bi-weekly newsletters. Both these products are free, and you can subscribe to them on our website (www.whyafrica.co.za). Alternatively send me an e-mail at leon@whyafrica.co.za

The WhyAfrica community has grown significantly over the last year and includes investors, decision makers, business leaders, government officials, thought leaders, writers, politicians, CEOs, operational managers, lawyers, bankers, philosophers, academics, development specialists, business developers, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, suppliers and service providers. The list goes on.

WhyAfrica has a global audience, and its readers and followers have the following in common: they have a passion for Africa; they do business in Africa, they are interested in investing in Africa, they want to know more about Africa, or they want to work or expand their operations in Africa. The common thread is a real need to contribute towards the development and growth of the continent.

Unlike the mainstream media WhyAfrica does not focus solely on what is wrong in Africa (although, that is extremely important) and we do appreciate that Africa is not always only a good news story. However, knowing that multinational media houses have got that covered, we rather focus on what works now, what might work in the future, and what has worked in the past. In other words, we are looking for solutions to address Africa’s unique challenges.

So, if you or your company have solutions for tough African challenges and you operate in the mining, energy, agricultural, ESG, water, infrastructure, tourism, conservation, and development sectors, we want to hear from you. If you are interested in contributing in terms of editorial or advertising let me know.

We are offering some great special deals, combo’s and sponsorships. However, we recommend that you become one of our premier partners, which will give you unlimited access to our growing global network. As a premier partner, you get a range of extra benefits that will assists you in doing business in Africa.

WhyAfrica is one of the official media partners of the African Energy Chamber’s African Energy Week in Cape Town in November in Cape Town, African Mining Indaba in March 2022, and London based AMETrade’s events across Africa in 2022 (the first being the 3rd Ecowas mining & Petroleum Forum and Exhibitions in Niamey in Niger in December) which will give you more exposure to a wider international audience of decision makers.

Our special deals to advertise in the first ever WhyAfrica digital magazine is valid only until the end of October, if you are interested contact me at leon@whyafrica.co.za
